Having a balance between cardiovascular exercise and strength exercises will help you lose weight quicker than doing just one or the other. My recommendation is to exercise at an intense pace (yes, it should be hard) for at least 1 hour per day.

Rule #3: Get rid of your junk foods, don’t buy them ever again

Probably the quickest weight loss solution is to throw away all of the food that’s bad for you. Chips, sodas, candies, sugar-based cereals, etc. – throw them all away and replace them with healthy foods. There are a lot of healthy foods that have good taste (actually a lot better taste) than junk foods. Don’t ever plan on buying junk foods again – scrap them from your grocery list and come up with alternatives.

Although the quickest weight loss solutions involve things like taking pills, having fat sucked out via surgery, etc. – these are not going to initiate and facilitate a state of long term health. If you want to be healthy over the long term, you have got to work hard to make sure that you are putting the right foods into your body and exercising your body each and every day. If you do this, the weight will come off quicker than you expected.
