What is conversational hypnosis? Conversational hypnosis (also referred to as “covert hypnosis”) is defined as the ability to communicate or influence another person’s subconscious mind without them being aware of it. There are many different types of hypnosis that are marketed because a lot of the general public has absolutely no idea what is real and what is a complete scam. The truth is that conversational hypnosis does not really work like you think. As someone who has actually studied hypnosis, I know that applying conversational hypnosis techniques is not going to get you what you want from another person.

Basic Understanding of Hypnosis

Hypnosis is basically just a highly relaxed, focused state of mind in which you can access your own subconscious mind and implant positive suggestions and thoughts. However, you cannot brainwash yourself or anyone else into doing something that you would not normally do. No type of hypnosis or hypnotherapy is going to result in mind control. You can use hypnosis on yourself to help yourself stay focused on a goal (e.g. quitting cigarettes, eating healthier, exercising, etc.). I’m kind of disappointed that the general public does not know the truth about hypnosis because of all these staged hypnosis shows around the country for entertainment.

Hypnosis Conversational Alternatives

If your goal is to influence someone else into getting something that you want, then why don’t you just ask them for it? Even if the person says “no,” or declines your suggestion, you will probably have just as good of a chance of getting what you want as you would after testing the power of conversational hypnosis; it clearly is ineffective. The only way that it will really have any effect is if the other person that you are trying to hypnotize or influence was okay with the suggestions that you are giving them anyways – you don’t need hypnotherapy to make these either.

Stay Away From Conversational Hypnosis

Seriously, it’s a technique that doesn’t work and I don’t want you to waste money on buying a conversational hypnosis indirect book or for some guru to teach you how to use it. Think about the idea of influencing people with “conversational hypnosis.” Don’t you think that if it actually worked that there would be people using it to get the hottest girlfriend, extract money from wealthy millionaires, and talk the car dealer into giving away a Lamborghini for free? Be realistic and don’t get yourself caught up in something that isn’t real. Unfortunately there are a lot of websites out there that are pushing profits to make a quick buck off of people that are clueless about whether this actually works. Hopefully this article was strong enough to keep you away from it.
