all that is, all that was was created from an originating point.... no not god, or any other relgious icon. but originated from thought. i am not one to believe in the bible, but even so, if god created earth, then he had to think it up. the point in which i am trying to reveal is that you dont need to do anything but think to increase your brave wave lengths. dont be a hollow shell.
ex: i dont understand why my son wont sit down.
thought: my son will not sit down what do i do?

show him perserverence teach him to think of his own free will not do what the doctor says. the brain is a mysterious thing some meds work for some some dont. the best bet is to learn to control your thoughts so that you don't need the meds. break him down mentally as if he were in the army. work him ragged and he will be so tuckered out he wont be off the wall (sports)

>>“Help! My son has both high theta and high beta, making him adhd and having anxiety, what do I do?”

Hello Emily,

How did you find out that your son has both high theta and high beta. what tools were used (like EEG or QEEG)?

My son has ADHD and I want to use neuroprogrammer but do not know what his brain waves are like?

How do I find out what waves does his brain needs (or lacking off)?

Thanks

"Help! My son has both high theta and high beta, making him adhd and having anxiety, what do I do?"

I have 'dreamy' style add without hyperactivity and high anxiety levels, hence any concentration benefits from stimulants are cancelled out by increased anxiety.

One thing that has been of some benefit is interactive metronome therapy, which has slightly improved sustained attention, working memory and reduced muscle tension.

A cold shower in the morning and a boiled egg for breakfast have also been helpful at times.

I have tried neurofeedback at home, but have found that reducing theta, and increasing high beta increase anxiety and muscle tension.

Perhaps the best approach might be to address the anxiety first by increasing high theta and then perhaps improving concentration by increasing low beta?

One interesting observation is that high alpha and low beta seem to increase after exercise when I have a mild 'runners high,' suggesting these may be the brain waves which need to be encouraged.

Hey Uff, coffee is healthy in small doses. Red Bull energy drink contains many more unhealthy ingredients than coffee as well. A little bit of coffee isn't going to have a major impact on your brain. Consistently drinking coffee may increase your beta brainwaves and cause you stress, anxiety, etc.

I personally don't drink either and have never been a big fan of the caffeine-induced "pick me up."
