One point...

it says "Don't do drugs"

followed immediately by "cut alcohol consumption"

this is a cultural sleight of hand we often fall prey to. of course, alcohol is a drug and it can kill brain cells like any other drug... so, why does it given even a little preferential treatment here?

going further... I think it's too simplistic to say that all drugs are bad for you, even in the fight against Alzheimer's. Some drugs introduce biochemistry that is already present and manufactured by the brain, and have been shown to break down baggage and help people move through blocks and traumas.

Not advocating... just clarifying ;)

Funny. My mother did most of the above - bar the Nintendo - and has suffered from a particularly rapid and aggressive form of Alzheimers. Fish oils, crosswords, diaries, curries, fruit juices and healthy eating didn't do s**t

This is a great information, thanks for it. My grandad died of Alzheimers a few months ago, and we have been a bit concerned about my dad, but he has been to the doctors already and he is ok so far. Will print all of it out and put in our fridge, so we can try it out!

God blesses you all,

Marcelo
